This house is a mixture of South Australian limestone on the outside and Western Australian limestone inside. On the outside they let the stone speak for itself, going with a simple design but having large stone lintels and sills protruding on the windows and doors. Which really worked well with this type of design.
On the inside of the house they used Western Australian limestone as a feature wall, starting from the entrance and continuing all the way down the hall. They also used this stone for a fireplace that continued through the first story and through to the second story. Western Australian limestone is a beautiful stone, it has a lot more character with tree roots, shells and fossils throughout.
