Wonderful New Build in Kew

We are thrilled to unveil our latest project, which is located in the highly sought-after area of Kew, Melbourne. This new residential build is nestled in the heart of this lush, picturesque suburb, and works are currently in full swing.

Throughout this build, our team of stonemasons have been working alongside the very talented Christopher Doyle Architects, who have collaborated and planned out this gorgeous build. We will continue to work as a team with the builders from Davies Henderson to carve and lay the beautiful stone and see this project come to life.

The stone we are using for this build is Oyster Limestone, which has been mined in Western Australia and supplied by Limestone Australia. This Limestone has incredible features embedded within some stones, such as hard fossils and tree roots. In combination with this, it has fantastic colour variations, making it a wonderful and unique choice for this project.

The stone profiles are carved using machinery as well as using the old stonemason techniques, which include using hammers and chisels to achieve curves and intricate shapes. When laying this beautiful Oyster Limestone, we will use a Cottesloe Pattern consisting of 8 different sized stones laid in a repeating pattern.

To date, the pool pavilion area has been completed, and the house is scheduled to be finished by March 2024.

Our commitment to quality and innovation will continue to be showcased throughout this build. As this project continues to take shape, we look forward to sharing more updates and welcoming the residents to their lovely new home.
